I copied some of the article. Three Panthers have undergone surgery since the end of the season (2 starters).

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- Johnny Moran, set to be the only senior on Northern Iowa's men's basketball squad next season, will be sidelined three to four months after having shoulder surgery this week.
Doctors "feel like it's a process that's just going to require three to four months to get to 100 percent," Coach Ben Jacobson said of Moran's procedure. "So, obviously that takes away his summer."
Moran, a 6-foot-1 guard who averaged 9.6 points per game last winter, should be back to full health by mid-August. However, his surgery means he'll miss this summer's Prime Time League slate in North Liberty.
Still, Jacobson is optimistic that his program won't be without its veteran leader for any meaningful time next fall.
"(Rehab) gives him two full months or more before our first practice, so he'll be back in plenty of time," Jacobson said of Moran, currently No. 6 on UNI's career 3-point list (148 made).
Another Panther, Jake Koch, is already on the mend from surgery. The 6-9 forward recently had arthroscopic surgery on an ankle to remove lingering bone spurs.
"He had it cleaned up and everything went great," Jacobson said of Koch, who was walking without a limp around the McLeod Center earlier this week.
"He feels really good," the coach added. "But he may be out of action for another three to five weeks before he's back to full-go with his workouts."
In other injury news, sophomore-to-be Tyler Lange will be on crutches for four to eight weeks while recovering from a knee ailment.
