MO State @ MO Southern Exhibition #3

Played our final exhibition last night @ MO Southern in the I-44 Challenge for the Joplin Tornado Relief Fund. MO Southern is ranked #7 in the preseason DII polls and had decent size plus some good athletes. I know this was just another exhibition game but I was really impressed how we came out and got after it. Very aggressive on both ends and if nothing else our defense will be better this year...we help better and have a few more athletes. We got up 43-9 in the first half and ended up winning 84-48.

They looked great. It amazes me the difference between D1 and D2. MO Southern is a quality D2 program with some pretty good players. But the step between the 2 is fairly dramatic in most cases.
