Drake vs Upper Iowa

Bulldogs won 82-57. Very ugly game with no flow, due to the officials blowing the whistle almost every time down the court.

Five Bulldogs in double figures, led by Aaron Hawley's 23. Others in double figs were Jeffers, Madison, Clarke and Simons.

Drake had 8 scholarship players available today, compared to only 5 last Saturday.

Having 3 extra bodies (Smith, Clarke, Woods) available made a lot of difference. 2 more (Rice Alexander) will be back for Tuesday's game with Iowa State. The last 2 (Van Deest and Uhlenhopp) won't be back for a while after that

You definitely weren't the only one. The game was tight for the first 10+ minutes, and it was pretty nerve-wracking to think DU was going to lay another egg. Then DU created some separation in the final 5 minutes of the 1st half, and they held a comfortable lead for the entire 2nd half.

Upper Iowa was pretty bad. This should have been a 50 point victory at least.
