For the past 8 weeks we have polled the users of this forum to help decide where you think each team will place in the final MVC standings for the 2010-2011 mens basketball season. We are now down to the final two teams - Missouri State and Wichita State.

Last week, Creighton was predicted to finish in 3rd place.

Week 9 - Who will win 2010-2011 MVC mens basketball season regular season title?

I'm going to go with WSU, but it's going to be close. I don't see them going 16-2 or anything crazy like that, but they will probably squeak by in the end. No stats to justify it, just going with gut feeling.

I don't know how one can vote for someone other than WSU at this time. While I think breaking in a new PG will be harder than many WSU fans believe, I still think they are in a better position than MSU.

That being said, the combo of Weems & Ricks is pretty salty.

I think the team winning the conference championship will have a conference record around 14-4.

While we're breaking in Ragland, we've got Williams. Who in the Valley really has the guns to challenge WSU this year? No worries, no sweat, no fear, no pain. Just a Valley title.

I think WSU is the favorite, but I doubt it will come as easy as some seem to expect.
