Many MVC players selected in the NBDL draft. Interesting to look through, for those that are interested.

Curious to know if kids have a better shot at the NBA going the D-League route or the Euro route.

I'd say they're roughly the same, with the NBDL having a slight advantage with proximity.

In Europe, they can get paid a lot better and live a pretty comfortable life, albeit in an unknown culture. It's a trade off.

I think you definitely have a better shot at the NBA in the D league. That is the whole idea of the league.

But, you will make much more money playing in Europe.

Former Illinois State basketball player Champ Oguchi was selected Monday night by the Maine Red Claws in the second round of the 2010 NBA Developmental League Draft with the 30th pick overall.

Oguchi played overseas last season with STB Le Havre in the France-Pro A League. He played in 29 games for Le Havre, and averaged 7.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Rio Grande Valley, if you're interested, is located in McAllen, Tx.
