Shocks - Bears game

Thot this very limited edition of Bears gave Shocks most of what they could handle. Hall is an amazing player. Will miss Downing and Pickens but a lot to look forward to for Bears' fans.

Agree. It was a good game but there was little doubt the shox are the better team this year. Hall absolutely killed us inside. But on the flip side Marcus left little doubt who the best backcourt player was. We have a lot to look forward to next year.

Marshall looked very good.

Good freshman PGs in the Valley: Marshall, Beane (is he a PG?) Keane, Van Vleet.

Marshall was remarkably consistent this year especially in the conference games.

I know he doesn't play PG but Baker is the young Shocker that impresses me much more than Van Fleet. He can flat out play and doesn't look like a freshman at all.

Baker is a SG in my book, but he started off as the #2 PG backing up Armstead this year with Van Vleet being #3. He is a heady player. Despite the loss of four senior starters, I'm excited about the future Shocker back-court. Next year will be; Van Vleet (so), Baker (so), Wessel (so), Cotton (Jr), and Wiggins (sr). Will also have some freshman guards coming in next year.

Downing will be tough to replace and tough break for Pickens, but Gulley will do good things for a still young Bears team. Need that big man in the paint!

Missouri State fans should be embarrassed by their turnout in STL, year after year. It's pathetic.

You are flat wrong. When we have had good ballclubs we have had good attendance. Just two years ago we had really good numbers when we won the regular season. Hard to get excited when you start off as poorly as we did this season.

Been there every year, and strongly disagree. Obviously there were more MSU fans there when they finished first than this year, but compare a good year to MSU to good years for programs such as SIU, Creighton and Wichita (and factor in the distance compared to CU and WSU). Really weak.

An SIU fan wants to talk about attendance numbers? Don't you have the worst home attendance in the Valley? I haven't seen numbers for this year but pretty sure that was the case the 2 prior years. In 10 /11 I think your home attendance was in the 2500 range. Now THATS pathetic.
