Watching Denver to check them out.

They have a nice arena. I can tell cause there looks to be about 200 people in it and half of those people wearing green shirts for Ohio.

No please to Denver, the Valley doesn't ski and it doesn't play Hockey.

Denver's AD comments about joining the MVC, very VAGUE comments, but it does sound like adding sports was an issue

Well their team is solid no doubt, this is second season in a row with 21+ wins and they are young.

That's what bothered me, NIT against a team that made S16 last season and I swear half of the zero people in the joint were wearing Ohio gear.

Just think that Hockey is their thing and Basketball would never really catch on there.

Overall I really wouldn't care if they were added as I've come to the conclusion that it really doesn't matter. Just shocked by lack of interest in a home NIT game by their fan base.

You are looking at the wrong school.. Look at how well Ohio fans travel. That is a program that would thrive in the MVC.

I'd love Ohio, but FBS football precludes that possibility, I think.

Agreed, Ohio would be sweet, just isn't a possibility

Unless there is some sort of grand bargain involving multiple current Valley football schools moving up, I don't see us adding a school that plays FBS.

Id take Ohio and Akron any day over the rest of the field being considered.

Ohio, Akron, and one other (Miami? BG? Toledo?) to the Valley. They use their pull with the MAC to add UNI and Illinois State as football only members??

One can dream, right??

Lol, hard to see an upside to that from the MAC's perspective.
