Dantiel Daniels transfering

He flirted with the idea last year and stayed....now it seems he is leaving for sure.

We are a better team with Dantiel. We are a better program when all aspects of the Lowery regime are gone.

I wish Daniels luck but it was most likely best for both parties involved that this decision was made. SIU needs to move on from Lowery, Daniels deserves a chance to win (he wasn't going to do that at SIU).

I've been saying all year that the only reason he was here for the past season was because Moccia held him hostage over grades last year. Lowery was like a father figure to DD and he had no desire to be a part of a program that treated his mentor with the disrespect it did. Unfortunately, it won't be the only player to leave after this season......however, he'll be the toughest to replace and Hinson won't be able to do so. It's depressing to see what Dillard has done to this program and than for Mario to make Lowery the fall guy....you might as well put us down for 10th in the Valley for many years to come (unless Creighton is not replaced....than we'll get lucky and finish 9th)
