This includes combo guards, but not wing guards. No Newcomers listed:

1. Walt Lemon Jr., Senior, BU
2. Ron Baker, Sophomore, WSU
3. Marcus Marshall, Sophomore, MSU
4. DJ Balentine, Sophomore, UE
5. Anthony Beane, Sophomore, SIU

Nick Zeisloft has made major strides this off-season. I see him being one of the best 3 point shooters in the league. I actually think our backcourt as a whole will be better than last year.

Before people think I'm going straight homer, I see major questions in the frontcourt that will need to be answered positively for the Birds to avoid Thursday.

He might be good, but you have a crowded backcourt. Also, I don't think he is the caliber of the other five listed, but he might before he graduates.

The backcourt is crowded, but I feel comfortable predicting Zeisloft as a major contributor and probable starter. I agree that he isn't a top 5 guy yet. Just trying to give some info on our roster of unknowns.

If you mean Green, I personally don't know where he's going to crack the lineup. He can really, really shoot the ball, but I just don't see him taking minutes from Cotton, Baker and Wessell, especially if Early is going to spend some time at the 3.

Mention all you want. I used the criteria of returners only as it is FAR too difficult to say that one of the two dozen 3-star recruits is going to be THE guy. I haven't seen enough (or any) of the guys on my own team let alone the guys on everyone else's.
