It is certainly an honor to be mentioned and they should be touting him. But I would say something more along the lines of "Early is listed among All-American candidates" or the like. I know he is on secondary lists as well and they should play those up. They don't need to play political word-games like this, makes them sound like the White House.

The 'article' is a press release from the WSU AD/SID.

Like I said, figured some Shocker fans would jump on me for saying anything but whatever. Early is clearly the front-runner for player of the year in the Valley and probably the best NBA prospect the conference has had in years. Anyway it is good pub, just wish it was portrayed for what it is and not tried to be played up for more than that.
