Utah @ Bradley Dec 4
Utah is really struggling this year, even getting bounced, at home, by Oral Roberts. Bradley wins comfortably in Peoria.
BYU @ Creighton Dec 1
My homer pick is for the Bluejays to win, but I have no objective evidence for such a pick, so I'm forced to go with my head rather than my heart. I expect the game could be close but the Cougars will likely prevail. Hope I'm wrong.
Drake @ Colorado St Dec 1
Colorado State might be half-decent this year. I doubt Drake will get hot until sometime in January, deflating several league leaders' RPI's.
UE @ Air Force Dec 5
Air Force is just not good. I'm not convinced Evansville is, either, but they shouldn't have much trouble knocking off Air Force.
UNLV @ Ill St Dec 1
UNLV looked good against Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, and (a possibly overrated) Murray State. Illinois State won't be ready for the Runnin' Rebels with their awful schedule, especially since the Birds have failed to run the table with that schedule.
Ind St @ Wyoming Dec 4
Indy State has some questionable losses, but Wyoming's losses are even more questionable. Trees win in a game that goes down to the wire.
UNI @ TCU Dec 4
Probably not a popular pick, but Jacobsen doesn't have his Panthers figured out yet. TCU picked off Bradley without breaking too much of a sweat, so I imagine they'll beat UNI in a little bit of a tougher fight.
New Mexico @ SIU Dec 1
This is not the New Mexico of last year, but this also isn't the SIU of four years ago. Lobos win in a surprisingly high-scoring affair.
WSU @ San Diego St. Dec 4
Aztecs are good this year. So are the Shockers. But Wichita State has been shaky away from home, and last time I checked, Koch Arena has not moved to San Diego.
MWC wins, 3-6.
