Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere.

A longer article, but an interesting one. Basically, in order to get rid of late game fouling, the clock would be taken out at the under 4 timeout in college basketball, under 3 to in the pros. Then the refs will set the game winning score as 7 points more than what the winning team currently had. There would still be a shot clock. So for example:

Under 4 timeout

Redbirds: 70
Gargoyles: 3

The game would end when the Redbirds get to 77.

TBT has adopted this and the article includes some pretty cool game endings. Every game would end on a game winning shot.

At the start of the article I didn't like the idea at all. It grew on me towards the end after watching the video clip.

It sounds cool at first, and there could potentially be some fun endings, but it is really a gimmick. What about the team that is up 20 and has to leave their starters in to score the last 7 points as the back-ups can't score. Or when both teams go cold and can't score at the end of the game, it becomes ugly. Just go watch the end of the Always a Brave team's loss in the first round of TBT this year. Bradley probably wins the game without the Elam ending as time would have run out.
