Picked Evansville over Xavier after sitting behind a loaded KU team.

Cunliffe signed with Arizona State as its highest-rated ESPN.com prospect since reigning NBA MVP James Harden. He started the first 10 games of his freshman year and averaged 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds – shooting better than 40 percent from 3-point range. He played a significant role.

Then, barely one month into the season, he abruptly asked for his transfer – citing a need to return home for personal and family reasons.

A month later, Cunliffe chose Kansas over Georgetown and Seattle.

Cunliffe was quoted as saying he really liked the vision McCarty has for the direction of the program. My guess is McCarty and Lickliters NBA connections didn't hurt as well.

IMO, this may be the biggest transfer for us since Scott Haffner.

Last chance.......no more transfers allowed as he has used the maximum allowable number of transfers. So, relax Ace's fans he can't decide to transfer during a timeout.

If I were any more relaxed, I'd be asleep.

Here's another interesting transfer out of the Big 12 that I'd love to see a Valley team pounce on. Former top 150 recruit.

It's a sign! It's an omen! (stats at Iowa State look similar too) Go get him!

Who would be considered the highest rated recruit out of HS to play in the MVC?

In general, or one's who committed to an MVC program right away? Current program?

AJ Green is Top 100. Landry Shamet and Fred Van Vleet were too, depending on the recruiting service. I honestly have no ideas based on other schools, especially if we're looking at players who chose MVC schools first.

In the last 20 years.

I can’t think of a higher rated recruit than Sam in the conference.
