Guess i'm not the only one experiencing frustration with this recent change. the ones at the side are distracting but tolerable, but the bottom middle are just a pain.

Very annoying. But, like you said tolerable especially if the alternative is the website going bye bye. Just wish they didn't pop up right at the spot where I read and type.

I’ve also noticed whatever change has happened has led the ads to become “spammy” words are now being hyperlinked into links to scam and virus infested sites. I don’t have that experience in any other site I visit.

First of all, my apologies. I didn't realize the new ad codes would be so intrusive.

We've never asked for donations and have relied on the meager ad revenue (typically google adsense) to pay for the domain and host fees to keep the site running. We recently added infolinks ad codes the help support the maintenance costs, but I agree with you all that this seems to be a mistake. I wasn't aware how they would appear and I will try to modify it to make it more tenable. If I am unable to do that, I will remove their ads entirely.

We appreciate the feedback.

Thanks and good luck with the changes. I don't mind seeing ads, but it might be worth looking into the donation option.

Yeah, the side ones are fine and if it keeps the site affordable, small concession. The middle ones were a pain and so good riddance. Thanks to the mod !!
