A10/MVC/MWC have all fallen out of top 12 RPI as of last night with all 3 trailing the IVY League and SoCon.

SoCon has Furman. Top 25 team usually push a conference quite a bit higher than normal. Furman has some good wins. Belmont does too. Where is the ovc

No sugarcoating it at this point.

I think we can come to a consensus that no Valley team should ever have more than 4 losses in the non-con. If you're a good team, you'll win enough; if you're a bad team you usually schedule correctly and at least build up a record.

8 teams already have absorbed 5 losses or more. That is catastrophically bad for a top 12 league. That's 8 failures out of 10. (And Indiana State still has Diamond Head to go; they're gonna be the 9th team to reach 5 non-con losses!)

I'm not going to lie. This year has been a let down for me. Missouri State hasn't been competitive on the road, and the rest of the MVC just seems lackluster. Evansville should be pretty pleased with how they have performed compared to expectations, but outside of that, woof. it won't really get any better in conference play, there aren't great wins within the conference, only mediocre ones and bad losses.... Plus side is that it should be a competitive conference slate, with the winner of the tourney bid getting a 14 seed. While if I were a 3 seed, I wouldn't like to see a Valley team on the other line, but that's kind of what has been earned at this point.
