Whose UNIFTW? Checked Valpo board for discussion on Thursday’s game and noticed this guy ranting about Valpo fans and how they’ve developed a WSU fan reputation across the entire league. Maybe I’m out of the loop, but I’ve never even heard of anyone having issues with Valpo fans?

The PIG will be quite fun as usual and will start off what will be one of the craziest Arch Madness tourneys we will ever see.

ISUb vs Valpo
I truly believe Derrick Smits will have such an impact that Valpo will have a chance late in the game. I expect Freeman, Sackey, Evelyn and Golder will show well but their 3pt shooting without Fazekas concerns me big time

The Sycamores ended regular season on high note and have a good trio with Neese, Barnes and Key who have potential to get real hot from distance. Rickman and Kessinger be enough of legit threats on the block to be a downlow presence.

Valpo has really struggled lately and missing their sharpshooter wont help. They size and some athleticism which should keep this competitive. But with Indiana State smelling a trip the quarters no way Barnes being from STL loses this one

Illinois St vs Evansville

Walter McCarty's guys have had a tough year in the Valley but somehow shown ability to play with top teams in the league. KJ Riley is an all conf player type and should score well in this game. Hill Feehan Hall and Kuhlman are threats from 3pt land. Team lacks some size and not just gonna bully any to death for sure.

What a rollercoaster ride for Dan Mueller. Most talented team in Valley by far and here we are on Thursday. Milik Yarbrough is an NBA talent yet can be a headcase. Fayne
is one the best big men in the MVC. Keyshawn Evans wasnt his usual self and Jefferson/Copeland combo didnt give what was needed consistently. This team has the horses to win 4 straight in STL.

One of the few things I got correct this season was the Redbirds being the 7th seed. They are the better team here and swept the Aces. But a season of implosions I suspect you see bad shooting and ever worse defense. The Aces play hard regardless and will shoot well enough to stay ahead for better part of game.

Lmao, I had to check that thread out after you mentioned it. He used to post on here more frequently but stopped with UNI’s struggles over the past couple years. That one Valpo poster absolutely eviscerated him with the list of quotes from other fan message boards making fun of the guy.

I am going to predict the scores in a second, but does anyone remember Brenton Scott's final game as a Syc? I still feel bad for him, I hope nothing like that happens again. They would have handily beat ILL ST if he had just made a few of his shots. What was he like 0-20 or something crazy... Felt awful for him. Anyway...

Feehan got booted from UE. UE will have 2 scholarship players and 2 walk ons off the bench. Not saying that should alter anyone's projections, but I hadn't seen it posted on this thread.

Yeah I just found out after I posted....still gonna go with Evansville. Illinois St is just not right. Muller team lack mental focus at times and is undisciplined as well. So much talent that they forget to play together.

Jordan Barnes has been awful during valley play. Went from one of the best 3 point shooters ive seen in the league to a complete liability from 3. One of the real mysteries in the valley this year.
