Ford doing work

Postby ValleyFAN » March 17th, 2019, 7:01 pm

Dana Ford just pulled in his biggest catch yet, receiving a commitment from 4* Isiaih Mosley from Columbia Rock Bridge. Mosley joins his teammates Dajuan Harris and JaMonta Black at Missouri State, keeping the “big three” as they are known throughout the state, together for the forseeable future. Mosley spurned hometown Mizzou along with Mississippi State, Tulsa, and Bradley among others. Coach Ford building a strong foundation in Springfield!

Is it bad that I saw this headline and wondered what Geno Ford had come out of the woodwork to say about Bradley?

I can't find a single service that has him above 3 stars or ranked in the top 150.

Very, very good get. Going to be interesting to see what kind of style Dana decides to play going forward other than screaming at refs and scorer's table workers...

Salt is running thick.

Looking forward to MOST’s future. Last 2 times HS chemistry rebirthed in the Valley, it blossomed in a Final 4 (Custer/Richardson) and MVC title (Murphy/Murphy).

And Loyola has 3 AAU teammates as I recall plus Kaifes Krutwig and Williamson. Get your popcorn ready Valley fans. Maybe just maybe we'll prove we don't need expansion. (we should still invite Murray if we can though)

I tend not to look at ESPN. Mea culpa.

He's a very good get regardless. The league is better when everybody gets better!

Another couple of relevant pieces of information: Mosley, Harris, and Black just won the Missouri Class 5A men's basketball state championship this season together at Rock Bridge. So these three guys are not only from the same school and highly rated, but just won a championship.

Also, the Bears are getting Tyem Freeman next season who is from Springfield. Between Harris, Mosely, and Freeman, that's three of the top five players in the state no matter what recruiting serve website you look at - they just all occupy different spots in those rankings depending on which one you prefer.
