Wouldn't surprise me if he took that job. That would be a devastating blow to the program and to this conference.

I suppose you're right... It all depends on the next hire for Loyola and their continued commitment, just the same as the other Valley schools. Still, it'd be hard to see the guy that literally built the Ramblers into the class of the MVC these past two years leave. The program probably has enough cache to make a good hire but a transition period is still very possible.

St John’s should hire Tim Cluess. That guy coached his way thru the HS ranks into a D1 job where he’s notched 6 NCAA’s & 2 NIT’s in 9 years at Iona. He’s been a winner every step of the way with a play style funner than Creighton’s suburban horse. In fact, Loyola should just grab him if St John’s chooses Porter.
