UNI's Connection To the NBA Champs

I did not know that Nick Nurse, the Raptors coach, was a UNI alum. He's UNI's all-time leader in 3-pt. % at .468.

Now Nurse has added another former UNI basketball player to his staff. Surprise, surprise - it's Brittni Donaldson. Yep, he added a woman as an assistant coach.

We watched the Raptors through the playoffs and finals. Fun to see FVV playing and Nurse coaching.

Don't forget about Brittni Donaldson, another UNI basketball alum who has been helping out with the team for a few years as a data analyst. She was recently named an assistant coach for the Raptors

He was a major part of a Championship team for sure. But he had a lot of help. It will be really interesting to see how That's Fred and company fare without Kawhi. I think they are still decent but I'm thinking they fall hard from this past year.
