I have been doing a weekly Top 19 for the MVFC and OVC for football that can be found on Any Given Saturday. I will be doing a Top 22 for basketball as well that I will update at the beginning of each week once basketball season starts (most likely Monday's). I am an Indiana State and Eastern Illinois fan, and with a couple of regular Murray State fans on the board I think it is appropriate to include OVC schools. If you don't like the OVC schools being included just ignore them. I also plan on doing this for baseball in the Spring.

MVC Average Team Ranking= 9.6
OVC Average Team Ranking= 13.1
My Basic Preview for both leagues.
The top 4 schools in the MVC appear to all be title contenders. Who comes out on top is anyone's best guess. I picked Loyola. Until someone proves they can top them, they deserve the benefit of the doubt in my eye. I look for Bradley to build off of last season's success. Missouri State appears to be the most talented team, but their success will depend on how well they play together. The other 6 schools will more than likely be in a battle to stay out of Thursday.
Belmont and Murray State lost plenty of good talent, but still appear to be the best teams in the OVC. Austin Peay, Jacksonville State, and UT Martin look like schools that could also contend for the OVC title. For everyone else, the race to finish in the top 8 to make the OVC tournament is on!
