RPI/NET

I know it is an outdated metric, now that NET is the thing. I still believe the NCAA started using NET over RPI because schools outside of the P5 were making legit cases for post season involvement and the NCAA needed to change the metric. Any who. It still gets tracted on some credible sites. With the UE win last night, here is where everyone stands:
1. Illinois State
21. Northern Iowa
35. Valpo
86. Southern Illinois
136. Drake
137.Bradley
188. Evansville
241. Indiana State
247. Missouri State
281. Loyola

http://realtimerpi.com/rpi_Men.html

Obviously, these change every time a game is played, but it's kind of cool to see Illinois State listed at number 1 in a metric that once served a critical purpose and now is useless.

Illinois State as #1 in the country, that looks right to me.

My bad about the title, ya'll I was planning on putting where everyone is in the NET right now but I didn't see any for this year. The one on the NCAA is only through last season.

The first Net rankings won't be released until mid-December.

Makes sense- gather enough data to be dangerous. Thanks!

It is cool to see us number one.

The metric was useless for mid majors always though.

No good wins for UNI on the Valley schedule, only NET drags. They will have to run the table in order to get an at large bid... Not sure if it's good news, but at least 90% of the league is inside 200. Kinda surprised to see Indiana State inside 100, outside of Louisville and Dayton, their schedule wasn't too daunting.
