Aaron Cook out 4-6 weeks

Shooting hand in loss to Murray State. That roll most likely now goes to freshman Lance Jones.

Gotta think the medical redshirt conversation will be taking place with AC.

Cook is a senior right? Best case scenario, he is out 4 weeks, which puts him back at the start of conference play- when games really start to matter. Even at 6 weeks, he'd only miss like 5 conference games. With a broken hand, players don't get out of basketball shape. They can still participate in some drills with precaution and work on cardio/defensive slides and such. Once he gets back healthy- he should be able to come back into the rotation pretty seamlessly.

I'd be surprised if SIU pursed a medical RS for him.

No way would I take that if Cook. If I did, I wouldn't be playing at SIU next season.
