Elijah Child's Re-Injures his Broken right hand.

Postby Majik45 » January 6th, 2020, 1:24 pm

Bradley Basketball twitter just announced that Child's re-injured his hand in the game on Saturday and is opting to have Surgery to repair it. I think just about every Bradley fan was freaking out when he took a very hard fall on a rebound Saturday. He continued to play Saturday night, so it appeared that he was ok, but obviously it was not.

No time table for his return at this point.

Eerily similar to what happened to Williamson last year against Indiana State. Hurt it, finished the game (honestly he played great), but missed another few weeks after surgery

Wasn’t the first injury just a broken finger? Do we know if this a new injury or a re-injury of the same finger?

Ive heard theyre putting a pin in the finger this time instead of just letting it heal. How bad can it be if he played the rest of the game with it injured? My guess is end of the month

4-6 weeks from surgery tomorrow would place his return between the Feb 5 game @ Drake and Feb 19 @MSU. If we're lucky, the Feb 1 game @Loyola. The most important thing is we don't fall into Thursday contention and he's feeling good going into STL.
