I go to St Louis every year on Saturday and Sunday. This is just crazy. I am going to be pulling for Drake and Valpo today. I think it would be really cool to have two Thursday teams play each other on Sunday.

I actually think Drake could beat Bradley today. Drake played them very tough in Peoria and beat them in Des Moines. Valpo blew out MSU not that long ago, so it can be done.

Bradley is not playing their best right now. I could definitely see a Drake vs MSU finals. Two 15 seeds.

That loss at Valpo was an anomaly in MSU’s last 8 games. I think the “we have to win to stay out of the PIG” got in their heads. I don’t think that will happen today.

I don't know; Bears are so inconsistent. I think Valpo's offense creates alot of bad matchups for us defensively, and Valpo doubled Prim at every chance in that last game and he did not handle it well. He's a good passer, but he can also be a blackhole and we stand a lot when he gets the ball sometimes.

That game Valpo played against Missouri State in late February is not instructive or indicative of anything that might happen today. Valpo shot the ball and played so well relative to their usual performance that it would be very difficult to replicate it. Plus Missouri State spent the entire prep period gameplanning for JFL who was a surprise scratch (to the fans anyway) due to mono. I think that impacted their gameplan and their performance in a way that is again not repeatable. I said myself when someone on our board asked who we'd rather play Indiana State or Missouri State that it really doesn't matter for a host of reasons but chief among them being that we were so bad in our last meeting with Indiana State and so good in our last meeting with Missouri State that I don't believe that either game can reasonably be used as any kind of barometer for our possible performance. One thing's for sure: due to the extra game and the overtime as well as the Bears' terrific performance against the Sycamores we face an uphill climb today and have our work cut out for us. However, nobody expected us to even be here at this point so I'm simply enjoying the ride and I have to say that I'm darn proud of this team for what they have shown and hope that they get rewarded with postseason play of some kind.

Expect Liam Robins to look like valley player of the year again today as he dominates Bradley

Drake has not faced a Bradley team with Eli Childs this season.
