Tough game for the Salukis trying to rebound from a bad loss at Drake. Spread is UNI -3 and I'm having a hard time picking against the Panthers.

SIU is only a 3 pt dog? That's the surprise of the day.

I'll take UNI by 11. They might well turn this game into a track meet and score 40 points in the paint.

Should be an interesting game. No matter where the teams stand this is always a close one.

I wanted to head down to Carbondale, but that's not happening. Trying to decide whether or not I want to fork over the $10 for the video feed, listen to the radio, or go to the gym and follow on gametracker.

These are the only two schools in the Valley where you can't even get free AUDIO.

Flagship programs for sure.

SIU hanging in there. UNI leads 42-39 with 12 mins to play.

I'm a bit surprised that UNI isn't opening up a lead with Teague out of the game.

Fouls are pretty even
UNI - 13
SIU - 10

But points off of FTs aren't
UNI - 2/4
SIU - 8/10

SIU - 43
UNI - 42

I think that's SIU's first lead of the game

Wow, I did not know that. Usually a school picks up the costs for radio just for exposure, even if they can't sell any advertising. Either these two programs are flat flipping broke or they have morons in the PR department.

I remember that you used to be able to listen to SIU games on the internet and their on air personalities were the most impartial of probably any of the schools. I also thought they did a great job of painting a picture of the play. Oh yeah, the commercials were also pretty darn amusing as well.

It's kind of hard to expect the MVC to get out of "mid-major" status if you can't even get flippin audio for the game. The freakin Horizon league video streams their games for free!
