Evansville/Indiana State could quietly be a close pair of games this weekend. If I'm being honest I absolutely hate watching the way the Aces play basketball as a viewer, it leads to some plottingly slow/choppy pace. BUT it is effective and they do it well! I think they can easily steal 2-3 games before this season ends.

Fun Fact: These two games will be UNI's first Quad 4 games of the season. That's 1) insane 2) a real credit to how much better the league is this year.

Valpo continues its inconsistent play. When they're good and shots are falling they're really good when they're bad and shots aren't falling they're really bad. Today we saw good Valpo and they notched their first win in Cedar Falls today! Contrary to some of my earlier posts I really am excited about some of the flashes of potential coming from the underclassmen. if they stay together Valpo could finally be finding its way! It's just frustrating to see how inconsistent this team is right now. I don't know when I tune in if I'm going to see them win by 20 or lose by 20.

Well - not the Bradley team that will be on the court this weekend.

But, ideally, good talent. Lots of turnovers. Bad shooting from three. Undisciplined play.
