Ford is also among 25 finalist for the "Ben Jobe Award" which goes to the nations top minority coach . He won the award once previously at Tennessee State. My guess is this award will go to either Juwan Howard of Michigan or Mike Boynton of Oklahoma State. Boynton is also a finalist for the Skip Prosser Award.
Congrats to Dana for being considered for both; he and his wife have been very visible and active members of the Springfield community, spearheading a number of humanitarian endeavors. Good guy.
