Zay has a great debut with Brooklyn going for 23 pts and 15 rbs. On a 10 day contract because they have some injury issues, but gosh, what does this guy have to do to get a real opportunity. Hoping someone wakes up and gives him a real contract. Tears it up in the G-league , but Pacers never really gave him a chance. A really good guy you just want to see succeed.

It is really crazy how hard it is to break into the NBA and even crazier how hard it is to stick in the NBA. I loved watching Alize. He can just do so much on the floor. Hope he sticks this time and becomes a fixture in the league.

Brooklyn got killed that game!
Plus Alize Johnson wasn't flashy enough; No power dunks, not impressive from the 3, just some floaters.

I wish him the best but I've become pessimistic over my years.
The NBA is about flashy spectacle and 3 point shooters, so unless he's consistently leading his teams to playoff runs, I fear he's not sticking around.

Yeah, just your average 23-15 double double in the NBA

Life in the NBA; one night later Alize doesn't get a minute as a couple players are back for the NETS. I get using your established guys, but if a guy went for 23-15 and was 11/15 from the field for me, he at least gets a sniff the next few games.

He should go to a rebuilding team where he might be able to get minutes. I'm sure that performance raised some eyebrows and earned him another look even if it's not with Brooklyn.

I still watch the NBA and can name every member of the Pacers and Bulls, but if I’m honest about it, the NBA is closer to WWE than the NCAA basketball we all watch.

Alize has been signed by the Nets to a $4 million multi year contract; evidently according to his agent, he had other offers for more money with a couple other teams, but chose to stay with Brooklyn after playing on consecutive 10 day contracts the last month. So happy for Alize, one of the really good guys.

Good for Alize! When Valpo first joined he was one of the players I was most excited about getting to see at the ARC and he did not disappoint! Now he has job security and life changing money in a great situation to possibly win a championship! Couldn't be happier for him! I just hope he's able to get some minutes.
