I know there's some schedule stuff intermixed in other threads. Let's consolidate it for easier reference.

As outlined above, UNI and St. Bonaventure are starting a two-year H-H this year. Bona is a Final Four contender this year, IMO, so tremendous get for UNI.

Bradley and Loyola Marymount will play a neutral site game in Vegas on December 22. Torvik (yes, this is incomplete at this time) presently projects LMU (3rd in the WCC last season) to jump from 99 to 63 in his ranking (similar to Pomeroy).

Here's what's known for Bradley so far:

Home
St. Joseph's

Neutral
Loyola Marymount (Las Vegas)
Colorado St (Paradise Jam)

Away
South Dakota St
Toledo

Paradise Jam: vs. Colorado St; vs. Creighton/Brown; vs. Colorado/Duquesne/SIU/Northeastern

Toledo may not happen, it's a contracted second game of a H-H, but the two teams met at Xavier's tournament to start last season, and they may ultimately count that as the second game. So TBD if that game happens.

Overall, a good start, but a pretty bad tourney draw (they do get the best team going in, most likely, but if they don't win or there aren't major upsets in the tourney, could give them a couple mediocre games, rather than the usual 2 really good games). It also sounds like it will be a home-heavy schedule, which barring some surprises or starting a couple good multi-year series, will likely be pretty disappointing.

Agreed, getting stuck with Brown and Northeastern is far less than ideal but you can only do what you can do.

It's kind of sad what the Paradise Jam has become. In its' early years it really got some great fields but, because they turned down the ESPN Events partnership and could never really find a TV partner, it has really fallen off. I mean UNI went from getting DePaul, East Carolina and Boston College the first time we went to getting Penn, Eastern Kentucky and Old Dominion last time. I'm sure other Valley schools that have had multiple trips down there have similar stories.

Southern theoretically could get Colorado-Duquesne-Creighton there this year. I'd be quite OK with that. :D

Per DI Docket FOIA request, Bradley will host Maine on November 27 in a guarantee game.

Illinois State is headed to the Cancun Challenge. Its a decent mid-major field this year with SLU, ILST, Buffalo and SFA. A little disappointing since these MTEs are usually a good opportunity to get a shot at a P5.

UNI hosts Jackson State in a buy game on 12/14.

Going to Hawaii via West Virginia apparently. Playing at Marshall on 12/18.

Waterloo--Huntington--Honolulu--Waterloo seems like a really bad travel plan. Same thing we did in 15-16 and led to a 2-6 start in the league.

Bears supposedly in the Naples Invitational with Wright St, Ball St, George Washington, and Middle Tenn.; seems like there should be one other . Decidedly midmajor affair, with Wright St and us the headliners.
