Is it true this team Valpo played carpools to games and holds public tryouts for the team?

Bradley had a shot up to win it at the buzzer at Toledo but lost it 67-65. A hard fought game between a couple of similar schools.

The backcourt has been steadily growing in confidence since the bad early losses in the non-con and the newer guys are starting to gel. Terry Roberts is going to be a force in the Valley. He can take it to the hoop whenever he wants. Mikey Howell has started playing better as well. Leons also gives some really good minutes.

Ironically, the returning guys, most notably Mast and Ville have been pretty inconsistent offensively from game to game. If they can get it together, this is a top 5 MVC team.

Bolstered confidence after a loss.

Did you watch the games against Howard and Brown compared to UNI and Toledo? If there isn't room for optimism then we're not watching the same sport.

Tough ending for Bradley, but in the few minutes I watched I was impressed with their new guards. Both Bradley and now Valpo with King in the fold could do some damage once Valley play kicks off in January.

Nice win for Loyola tonight over Vandy. Braden Norris is impressive, 18 points/9 assists. Plays great defense and an all-around pest.

Great win on the road for Loyola, the entire team just looks solid.

Some good games on the slate today, as well - hopefully SIU, Valpo, and Drake can win their matchups.

Bradley has played better, but still will battle the trees for 6th. We just cant shoot, especially our upperclassmen. Rienk Mast has gone MIA all but one game this season and Ville is still not right after his injury. We will bother teams with our length, but our constant carelessness with the ball and awful free throw shooting will kill us more often than not. The talent just isnt very good, especially after two tourney titles....I would have hoped we could build on that, but so far, Wardle hasnt done that
