Aces and SMU is a no go, due to the bug. Saves the Aces a 30 point beat down.

That sucks big time. Both Loyola and Drake missing out on big chances this week.

Agreed, but Drake has pretty much resigned ourselves to it's all down to Arch Madness at this point.

There are rumors that Drake is going to play Chicago State Wednesday at 5:00 PM at the Knapp. Nothing confirmed. Chicago State is at #9 Iowa State Tuesday night. Personally I wouldn't want this back-to-back but there may be contractual obligations at play.

It really feels like most the valley teams have been playing really well over the last two weeks... Hopefully the pandemic doesn't spoil what I think will be an entertaining conference season.

Did Tim Jankovich schedule this MTE that Bradley is in? Bradley, Sam Houston, NC Central, and UTEP.

Feels like the old Global Sports Roundball Classic that the Birds hosted with Jank at the helm. That one featured powerhouses like South Dakota, Louisiana-Monroe, and Jacksonville State. The year before was the Basketball Travelers Classic at Redbird Arena featuring Norfolk State, SEMO, and St. Bonnie (before they were respectable). And finally the year before that where ISU hosted the World Vision Invitational with Nicholls, Winston-Salem State, and UCSB.

Man, Jank played some miserable schedules. But hey, good for him for boosting up that W/L record.

The Missouri Valley Conference has opted to keep its forfeit policy in place, sources told ESPN. If a team is unable to compete, it will forfeit the game.

It wasn’t an MTE. The MTE Bradley played in was the Paradise Jam. This was a two game tournament. I’m not saying it’s murders row but playing and winning at UTEP isn’t all that easy.

Solid win for Bradley last night at UTEP. They were down 14 points in the second half before getting hot from 3 point land to make the come back (7 of 14 in the second half). Terry Roberts was amazing again for Bradley, scoring a career high 26 points on his way to Tournament MVP. He had 23 in the first game of the tournament and just filled up the stat sheet both night.

I haven't been following other valley teams that closely, but I would think Terry Roberts has to be a solid bet for Newcomer of the Year. He's averaging 16.6 points, 4.2 Rebounds, 3.8 Assists, and 1.6 Steals a game while shooting 49% from the field, and 37% from 3.

By the way, Bradley was able to win 2 games without Jashon Henry playing. He was out with a concussion on the hard foul on the last play of the game against St. Joe's.
