Not overwhelming news, but Missouri States Keaton Hervey has entered the tp and left school at semester. Hervey a 6'7 senior forward had seen his playing time diminish this year after the addition of Donovan Clay, and then even more so once conference season started and the Bears often played 3 or 4 guard lineups. Despite that he'll be missed, he was a versatile defender, and after a slow shooting start had been looking closer to the guy who led the Bears in 3pt % last year and started 24 games. The Bears are also currently still w/o last years starting pg Demarcus Sharp who had leg surgery recently and won't be back till mid Feb.
Hervey I guess would be immediately eligible for 2nd semester somewhere, plus although a senior, he'd qualify to have another year per the covid exemption. He'd be a nice complimentary player for a MM, perhaps a really good player at a LM. He can shoot and is athletic at the rim, but wasn't really good at putting the ball on the floor . Not sure how this'll impact the rotation, Bears might go big at times with 7'0 Carpers getting some minutes, or maybe we see 6'7 sophomore Melvin Ebonkoli.
