Hey All,

I am a UIC alum and absolutely thrilled UIC will be joining
the fantastic MVC! I graduated 1995 and played baseball.
My dad coached softball at UIC and is in the UIC HOF.
I am a diehard uic basketball fan. The basketball program
has fallen on hard times a bit but we have an exciting new coach
and the MVC will only help us with exposure and revenue and to bring
stronger recruits in. I know the first few years will be rough but I am
So excited to see teams like Bradley, ISU and SIU
come to the Pavilion. Happy to be on the MVC board!

Welcome to the best damn conference message board in all the land. Good to see there are some great fans of the team. At least the facilities fit in with what we as fans are looking for, and your baseball facilities are top notch. Hopefully you can make the pilgrimage down to Arch-Madness. I was a casual fan before, but after one trip there I was hooked and became a diehard. Of course that was when Creighton and Wichita were both in the league, so attendance was really high. A 12 team tourney is going to be crazy! Even if your team isn't expected to do well or go far, come on down and experience it. It's still a lot of fun!

Yeah our baseball, softball and soccer programs
are all very solid. Basketball under Jimmy Collins
We were very strong but have faded in recent years.
I expect that to change as we get more exposure in the MVC
and recruit better. Arch Madness sounds amazing!

Definitely like that you have quality soccer and baseball programs and facilities; Valley needs better representation in those sports . But basketball makes this league; so strap in and welcome !

Uic fan how are yu doing i dont like soccer much only in europe but i love me some good college basketball and softballs and hardball and i think the flamer is a cool nicknasme after that there chicago fir from long time ago but i hope you like it qlot here most folk are noce some are mean go msU bearss
