Murray moves up to 21st in the latest AP poll while Belmont gets a couple of votes this week. MVC gonna be lit next year!

Arch Maddness will be awesome next year.I dont think Murray St. will bring as many fans as Creighton or Wichita St. did,but they will bring a lot.

Racer Nation will bring it with Arch Madness being in a city with so many Racer grads. There are thousands of Racer fans in Evansville and there is nothing to do there but the tournament. You add the awesome stuff to do in St. Louis over a weekend and you will see an army of Navy and Gold come next March.

Would love to see a massive influx of Racer fans in St. Louis for Arch Madness. The tournament can use some new blood. I've been to a couple SIUE games over the years and was impressed at the number of Murray State fans in the stands when they played.

Those were some special times in the mid 2000s when some of the schools were selling out their 4k all session ticket allotment. Not sure we'll get there again but the more fans the better.

Those days took an unprecedented run of success fueled by some long suffering fan bases at the time. I'm not sure we get all the way back to that but re-opening the upper level and 15,000ish on Friday, Saturday, Sunday sure seems attainable, if not likely. If SIU and/or Illinois State could get all the way back, we could really start dreaming again.

Speaking only for maximum MVC Tourney attendance the perfect scenario for the Valley would be for Bradley, SIU, ISU and Murray State all to be good and battling on Saturday.

Yeah, there are no other MVC teams with alums in St Louis. SIU has 240,000 living alumni, Chicago and St Louis being major fan bases. Back in between 2000s Sweet Sixteen runs for SIU my old college bud was to meet me at the game, could not get in, sold out. 20 grand or so seats. Murray fans don’t know what they don’t know, hope they enjoy their final stroll through their cupcake conference. Love and kisses.
