Unless something drastic happens, the Birds vs Trees on Saturday will be playing for jersey color Thursday night at the Arch. Same thing with ILST as last year when they ended the season vs UNI and then played them again Thursday night.

Same. My biased perspective suggests that it will be a desirable job, having been named the best in the MVC a few years ago.

I'm excited about some of the names being tossed around. It's been a loooong 24 years. This season has been really fun to watch and is coming down to the wire. It'd be a fun race to be in.

Odd thought going into this week, so follow me on this one...
If UNI wins the regular season, that gives them an automatic bid into the NIT. Then, hypothetically, Drake beats UNI in the first semifinal at Arch Madness and Missouri State beats Loyola in the other semifinal. If Drake beats Missouri State in a tight game on Sunday, where does that put the MVC at for postseason bids?
I would think there would only be 1 in the NCAA Tournament but there might be 3 in the NIT.
