NIT championship game Thursday 4/4, Indiana State vs SH

Thursday night is the night MVC fans! Indiana State vs Seton Hall for the NIT championship! 7pm (EST) on ESPN. From Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, it'll be essentially a home game for ISU, just like last night.

Hopefully you all will hear some MVC chants on TV!

Like Tucker taking that early shot clock 3 when Drake was up 7 against Wazzu, I thought the difference was Avila taking an early shot clock 3 with a minute-plus left. ISU was up 77-70 in the last minute-and-a-half — can’t give Seton Hall an extra possession. However, Avila did play outstanding.

That was an amazing game. Congrats to Indiana St on a historic season and the Sea of Powder Blue in Terre Haute, St. Louis, & Indianapolis this year.

Not sure why you are throwing up threes up 7 with 2:00 left. Work the clock, work the ball, attempt high percentage interior shots. Sycamores gave it away. Live and die by the three. Fantastic season and run for the Sycamores. Next week or so will be quite interesting for Indiana State.

Great run Sycs, you did the Valley proud. Not sure what that last sequence was but I’m happy you were there telling the Valley. Hope for you guys that you can work out Schertz staying. Heckuva NIT final. Going to be way more fun than the UConn coronation show.

As entertaining an NIT run as I recall since my formative Bradley memory in 1982. Hate that the ending was so painful, but that’s kinda the deal with sports a lot of the time. Remarkable season and great representation of yourself and the conference.

That was a hell of a game, but man did ISUblue give that away or what? The only thing that could've lost the game for them is exactly what they ended up doing. And that last possession drawn up out of the timeout was atrocious. Get the damn ball to the rim!
