Can someone explain the advantage of having 15 schollies on a roster? You rarely see a rotation of 10 or more. The Racers go 8 at most. What's the logic?

This was likely a concession made in order to allow for a roster limit in the first place. The NCAA gets to limit rosters, the schools get a couple extra schollys

Gotta be on scholarship to get revenue share and capping rosters stops teams from using outside money to get to 17 or 18 guys.

This doesn't change much at our level at all.

Except that it removes another 100+ players from the recruiting pool.
