Flames get by previously undefeated Drake, 74-70, in a very entertaining game. Coach Ehsan made the necessary adjustments to take down the Bulldogs. Flames win 5 in a row and go to 2-1 in the Valley.

Credit to the Flames. They seemed to want it more than Drake did.

Drake's strength is their defense, and I'm not sure they got a single stop in the last 7-10 minutes of the game.

As a UIC fan, very excited about the win.

Past teams have been known for being careless with the ball (turnovers), can’t come back when other teams go on a run (Drake was up 10 in the second half), and bad free throws. Today, they did well on all three of those.

Good to see for the program. Now, time to get some more fans in that stadium.
