Missouri State isn't even a functional basketball team and is playing in an empty building. It's almost sad.

They were THE program when we both moved up to DI together and then into The Valley in the early 90s.

I watched part of this game and MSU looked like they had attendance of around 500. If there is a program that is falling apart, I'm glad it's one that won't be around.

I was one of those skeptical of the hire. So far he has been great and UIC is pretty good.

If you want to see something freaky, Wichita St was on the other night and their arena looked like it had 2500 people. The full crowd shots were 75% empty.

There’s fan bases who’ve gradually disappeared, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fan base who’s fallen off a cliff that rapidly.

Box score shows 5600 attendance. Weather was windy with a wintry mix all afternoon and evening. The smart fans stayed home and watched the game on tv.

While watching, the one thing that kept popping in my head was, "Wichita State and South Florida...in a conference game?!"

VU pre valley was near sellouts for every Saturday set. Students used to be forced into overflow seating on the east end which had removable bleachers.
