Sources: Murray State is set to hire Creighton assistant Ryan Miller as the school’s new basketball coach. He’s a veteran assistant who has worked at TCU, UNLV and Auburn.

Good for Murray to go out and get there guy quickly. I wish this was how the SIU situation would’ve been handled last year.

Pairing a good recruiter with a program that has both history and resources seems like a good move.

Miller should get it rolling in relatively short order.

I think you will see a preview of what Murray State will bring to St. Louis in the future in Evansville this weekend for the girls tournament.

A lot of people in Murray decided to skip St. Louis to go to Evansville this year.

Wasn’t really their fault. They had Preston Spradlin locked up and had to wait for them to lose and then he backed out.

Story goes Kevin Saal was going to bring Spradlin to Murray 3 years ago when the school president trumped him and hired Prohm instead. He bolted for AD job at WSU immediately and the rest is history.
