North Alabama is certainly not the trio of P5 teams Indiana St got at home last year, but at least it's a home game in the NIT.

If the Braves win, next game will be a visit to fellow 2006 Cinderella George Mason.

Bradley seniors Zek Montgomery and Darius Hannah have opted out of the NIT. Stupid ass move but whatever. More run for younger guys.

Don't quite understand this move by Hannah & Montgomery.

"The opt-out of Darius Hannah and Zek Montgomery from Bradley's NIT is likely agent-driven. Both those guys want to pursue pro opportunities, and there isn't much time to waste in prepping for it."
- Dave Eminian, Peoria Journal Star

I mean if it was football where there is an increased risk of significant injury, I get it. But I feel like if you're going to take the NIL money, you should play. I appreciate all their contributions to the program over the years, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.

I don't understand this at all. The risk of a huge injury in basketball playing 1 game is pretty small. They miss out on a week of training for a pro career? Disappointing to say the least, and I wonder what Duke Deen and Christian Davis think of this.

It’s a circle the wagons moment for a coach with a circle the wagons addiction.
