UNI @ MSU 1/30

What a situation for the Bears.
This game is a real chance to establish being the class of the league with a sweep of UNI. Funny thing with this game is that it is a pressure cooker for MSU. At this point, beating UNI at home would almost be an expectation, having beat them at their place and going on a tear in the conference. But, UNI is still one of the top class teams in the conference, and beating MSU would not be a complete shock. If that happens, this board will be lit up with ISU, WSU and UNI fans saying the Bears are not who they appear, which would be senseless.

Personally, with the way this conference goes, I am looking forward to being at an incredibly exciting game...although I would be satisfied if the Bears got up 25 and it was a sleeper!!! (Not holding my breath)

I admit that I'm torn here. I want to see WSU and MSU seperate from ISU and UNI, but I also wouldn't mind seeing MSU lose one more time. Should be a hell of a game though. I guess I'll just sit back and whatever happens, happens.

So stoked for this game and will be making the drive down from KC for it! Both UNI and Mo State are playing similar styles, so I expect a possession battle, grind it out type of game. This game will almost certainly come down to the last couple plays. The Bears have been great in closing out close games, but sometimes things don't fall your way...I would not at all be shocked by a loss in this one, but I think our guys can find a way to win again. An MSU victory would all but eliminate UNI from any title hopes and it would pretty much be down to MSU and WSU for the conference! Can't wait for this one Sunday night, should be a great crowd again, and for those not at the game it will be on ESPNU!

I think this will be a down to the wire close one. No disrespect to MSU at all, but I think I may give the edge to UNI the way they have been playing. Two weeks ago I would have picked MSU easily.

If UNI can pull out another game like this, a 3rd straight championship is within reach.

If the game is anything like the one in late December then it will be a real barnburner... and I might need to bring a new pair of underwear. I think that the atmosphere at JQH aka the Dutch Oven will carry the day for the Bears. I'm not sure that UNI will have played in anything like this all year. There has been a buzz about MSU all over the state and people are really stoked. I think Weems proves he is the POY over Aghelebe this game but it might not be a walk in the park.

UNI has experienced an atmosphere better than JQH and won. Creighton also almost took down the Bears at home so I dunno how much of a difference that'll make other than the better team winning.

Lest I remind you MSU has already beaten UNI and ended their home winning streak at a time when UNI was also playing well.

Almost's have no place around here...Creighton didn't.

Bears match up well with UNI, and I think they win another. Since you can see the future, and know what the atmosphere at MSU will be like before the game has been played, what will the crowd be like Sunday?

Lest I remind you that UNI's loss against MSU was during a streak in which UNI had lost 3 out of 4, including a loss to SIU and a 25 point loss to InSU. I would not describe that stretch of games as a time when UNI was playing well.

I will predict that the experienced Bears will take care of business on their home floor, but it will come down to the last minute. Can't wait for this game though, its an opportunity for my Panthers to officially make themselves a serious contender for the conference title.
