BU is going to win out. Unfortunately it's too little, too late.

Thank you Hacksaw! If you could do this chart after every set of games, it would be very much appreciated!

BBrave--you've followed this team long enough--no way does the team finish the year on a six-game regular season winning streak. There's a loss or two in there.

Whatever BU does, if it intends to advance in the tournament, it needs to make sure its Friday opponent is Missouri St and not Wichita St. We can beat Missouri St. In fact, I'm more worried about playing SIU or Drake on Thursday then I am of a friday matchup with the Bears. We have no chance against a bigger team in the Shux. we have a better chance against a team that relies on outside shots from weems and others and plays very little defense. Not saying this BU team will win, just a better chance.

I'll take this as Chitown actually complimenting Wichita State. :D

I cant think of any team that would rather see the Shoxs than the Bears. Other than CU I dont see any team that can bang with WSU. Doesnt mean they cant be beat by MSU or ISUB if they get hot from deep, but I see WSU winning the tourney in St. Louis.

I agree. Wichita State doesn't really have ONE guy that they depend on. Durley would be the closest. Sure, Missouri State has Mallet, Leonard and Creekmore that can all score efficiently, but they really rely on production from Weems.

If Durley isn't scoring, Wichita State still has Murry, Kyles, Smith, Ragland, Hatch, Ellis, Stutz, Blair and Williams that can really contribute. However, if WSU gets caught in a close game, I think we get eliminated. Our guards tend to lose their composure and turn the ball over when games are getting tight.

Eh, I don't know. UNI is on the ropes. ISU is terrible. UT-Martin is terrible. Drake has been coming on lately, but so have we. Plus we'll be at home. I think the players either already know that JL is probably not returning, or are getting that sense. They don't live in a vaccuum. They hear and read what people say. DSE made mention that they were 'playing for coach' in his postgame presser. I can see it happening. It's JL's last stand. What frustrates me is that had they taken this approach to start the league season, we'd probably be worrying more about the 5-6 seed rather than the 9-10 seed.
