Young with 2 quick fouls. I've never seen anyone beg for fouls more than Ahelegbe.

I don't want to piss off any UNI fans, but I gotta say that there are several UNI players who are masters at flopping and exagerating the extent of physical contact. Ahelegbe is built like a brick ****house, and I've seen him go flying 5 feet with minimal contact.

Maybe I'm just jealous because UNI players are so good at it.

A lot of the guys on UNI's team are guys that most would love to have on their team. A guy like Ahelegbe or O'Rear are EASY to hate, but if they are on your team, you love everything about them. I see how fans and players can get frustrated with guys like this, but it is just playing smart basketball.

Don't misinterpret what I'm saying. I don't hate UNI or the UNI players. Just pointing out an observation. And, there are several guys from UNI that I'd love to have on my team, starting with Ahelegbe.

I completely understood what you were saying. I know you meant no disrespect. It is tough to watch players like that when they aren't on your team.

UNI made that much more of a game than I thought they would. With UNI having no posts against Creighton's front line, I was sure this would be a 20 point game. UNI needs to play better in St. Louis for sure, expecially perimeter defense. However, I like UNI's chances alot better than I did.

CU wimpers to a win. Atleast it was a win though, 15 straight 10 win MVC years. Jays got outrebounded (not sure how that happened) and shot 45% from FT line. That was bad.

Creighton didn't seem to have as much energy as I have seem them play with in previous games, that said, UNI looks like a mess right now. If it wasn't for Creighton putting on the worst free throw exhibition I have ever seen at any level, the game wouldn't have been close. I think UNI should have started fouling sooner.

Coach can talk about how much the seniors care all he wants, they are clearly coasting home. Doug McD appears to have finally hit the freshman wall. He does not have the spring in his step the last few games nor has he fought for position with the same tenacity as he has most of the year. I don't see how these guys beat UNI in St. Louis, because they won't shoot 50% in St. Louis (57% from 3). I fully expect CU to come in with something like 5-23 from three, 15 TOs and a 6-10 point loss. The only way they win Friday is for Echinique and Young to find a way to stay out of foul trouble and put up about 20 points apiece. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the seniors already have Sunday travel plans for somewhere warm for Spring break.

On to next year!
