Anyone want to help create some rules for a "Pick 'Em" contest?

I can keep score.

Something like 5 points for Thursday winners, 10 for Friday winners, 25 for Saturday and 50 for the champ.

All picks in by tip of game 1.

Winner gets: ?????

Invevitably, there will be ties in the standings, so we'd need some kind of a tiebreaker, too.

Good point.

Tiebreakers can be picking the scores of the semifinals and final.

+10 points for picking either team's score on the dot. Max potential of +20 per game.

Off by 1 point = +8
Off by 2 points = +7
Off by 3 points = +6
Off by 4 points = +5

Secondary tiebreaker could be total points, with the closest picks getting the edge in a similar scoring fashion as the game score.

Thoughts?

I like it, although the tiebreaker could be a lot tougher by asking people to: (1) name the all-MVC tourney team (1 point for each correct answer) and (2) name the MVP
