Good to have the Sycs in Cleveland - let's have a big MVC turnout.

InSU mismatched on nearly every position on the floor. Hope I'm wrong, but Syracuse by high double-digits.

I think it's less of a mismatch than Texas...but I was definitely hoping for a BYU type team.

Defense will have to keep us in the game...well that and a great shooting day vs. the 2-3. I don't think that we'll be able to dribble drive against them.

I believe!

but I'm also a realist...

Not a great matchup, but I'll be cheering my ass off for the Trees.

Don't hate it. Would have liked Florida or BYU but its alright.

It'll be interesting to see how Indiana St. deals with the athletes of Syracuse, but I like them playing a 2-3 zone. Shoot well and rebound and they might be in it.

Syracuse does not play a 2-3 zone. If you think that that's their defense, you'd better read up. It's WAY different than what the local girls' JV team plays when you say zone.

The only thing is it is not a traditional 2-3 zone. I do think if they can get their shooters going it can cause Syracuse some trouble. There would have been better match ups for them, but Syracuse is not unbeatable. The match up zone makes it tough to shoot or drive. The key is keeping Rick Jackson and Kris Joseph under control. I think guard wise Indiana St. matches up, but with Fab Melo, Rick Jackson and Kris Joseph Syracuse has an advantage inside.

Nobody thought we could beat Kansas last year though. So give them hell Sycamores. Good Luck!
