Outdoor track updates of significance prior to the MVC meet in May

Last night Indiana State junior all american John Mascari broke the all time MVC outdoor 10k record at Stanford, running 28:38.22 to narrowly break the record Illinois State's Ryan Rutherford set in 2014 at this same meet (28:41.23). Rutherford had broken the previous record set in 2011 by SIU's Jeff Schirmer.
