MVC men at track olympic trials

we'll be reporting from Oregon on the progress of the MVC men (present and past) at this year's olympic track and field trials, the meet starts today and is viewable online and on NBC

in the men's shot put today, SIU's Josh Freeman and former Illinois State track star Curtis Jensen were 16th and 15th in the shot put, not advancing to the next round

in the men's javelin today, former Illinois State redbird and MVC record holder Tim Glover placed 22nd, so he won't be an olympian.

Current WSU thrower Damien Odle placed 10th as well in the javelin

former WSU decathlete Austin Bahner finished the olympic trials decathlon today, he was outside the top 3, so won't be an olympian, but he placed in the top 10 overall
