Go Bears! An 11 seed seems more than fair. And congrats to Drake. I know the Bulldogs were already an at-large lock, but it's good to know the Valley is a two-bid conference in women's basketball still under the right circumstances. That's more than can be said for the MVC in the men's tournament right now.

On the 11 year anniversary of Drake losing in the NCAA Tournament on an overtime buzzer beater, both the Drake Men and Drake Women lose in overtime today.

Iowa almost became the first 2 seed to lose to a 15 seed in Mercer.

UNI made it to the WNIT but lost to Minnesota tonight in the first round.

Missouri State plays tomorrow.

Tough loss for drake to mu. Watched the whole game and thought Drake was the better team.

MSU wins!! Great win to get to the round of 32. On to Iowa state in Monday. Tough game but the way we are playing we've got a shot.

I live in Columbia right now so listening to the Drake game was pretty simple. Drake got really unlucky it seemed at the end. The officiating didn’t seem unbalanced, but the foul call on Drake there at the end seemed suspect based on what the radio announcers were saying.

But more importantly, GO LADY BEARS! The MVC’s last NCAA Tourney hope! Iowa State will be a tough game, but we’ve seen this team come this far already, why not further?
