Bradley WBB coach Kate Popovec-Goss suspended for non-con

No real details available yet, other than second-year Bradley WBB coach Kate Popovec-Goss has been suspended for the remainder of the non-conference schedule.

Armelia Horton was a player on the 2012 St. Bonaventure team that went 31-4 and reached the Sweet 16, and will serve as head coach in an interim capacity.

Bradley women play Central Michigan early this afternoon in their second game of the season, but the first since the suspension.

Another interesting side bit is that another assistant coach is her husband (Ollie Goss), so it will be interesting to see if he is on the sidelines as well. No reason to believe he won't be, but an interesting dynamic, nonetheless.
